# Video Release: "Colors" by Slake Dransky

I hope you paid your taxes on time because [Slake Dransky](/content/slakedransky/index.html) is about to snatch all the coins with his latest music video.

This sweet little work of visual art comes from one of the heaviest tracks on his latest mixtape, _MID_. If the mixtape is an ode to the hometown and homies, this music video is the cherry.

Underneath all the talent and character is a storyteller with a message. Please take what you will from the imagery, and relate to it.

Slake Dransky directed the video with his day one, [James Gerde](https://www.instagram.com/soaringhawkabove/), behind the camera.
